Recipe: Pancit Canton
Ingredients: 150 g shrimp, 150 g pork, 200 g chicken, 1 onion, 1/4 dl oil, 2 Chinese mushrooms, 1 dl chicken broth, water, salt, pepper, sliced ginger, 1 medium-sized cauliflower in pieces, 1 carrot in slices, 1 chopped celery, sesame oil, 1/4 cabbage, 1 packet of Chinese noodles, 1 cup ham strips.
Preparation: Wash and peel the shrimp and cut the meat into cubes. Fry the onion in hot oil, add the prawns and fry until the smell of the fish has disappeared. Add meat and mushrooms, stock, water, salt and pepper. When the meat is cooked, add a little cornstarch to the water. Add the vegetables and cook until done. Add a little sesame oil. Boil water in another pot. Cook Chinese noodles for a few minutes until soft. Drain the noodles and rinse with cold water. Serve the sauce over the noodles and garnish with scrambled eggs and slices of ham.
