Ingredients:
200g Bihon noodles (from the starter kit)
250g ground pork
1 small onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 egg
2 tablespoons soy sauce (from the starter kit)
1 tablespoon vinegar (from the starter kit)
2 tablespoons oyster sauce (from the starter kit)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 pack wonton wrappers
1 liter chicken stock
1 tablespoon fish sauce (from the starter kit)
Spring onions, chopped (for garnish)
Fried garlic (for garnish)
Instructions:
Prepare the Filling:
In a bowl, combine the ground pork, onion, garlic, egg, soy sauce, vinegar, oyster sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
Make the Dumplings:
Place a teaspoon of the pork mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
Fold the wrapper over the filling to form a triangle and press the edges to seal.
Cook the Dumplings:
In a pot, bring the chicken stock to a boil.
Add the dumplings to the boiling stock and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until they float to the surface.
Add the Noodles:
Add the bihon noodles to the pot and cook until tender.
Season the Broth:
Stir in the fish sauce and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve:
Ladle the soup into bowls, ensuring each serving has dumplings and noodles.
Garnish with chopped spring onions and fried garlic.
